On July 21, 2004, in the tiny dressing room The Reigning Sound had at Irving Plaza (where they were opening for The Hives), all the bands received their per diems while I happened to be in there with my camera. The Hives got quite a lot of money per day, and the Reigning Sound? 10's and 10's of dollars! Its a comic book full of images....
